Every page on FreeInvoice.app, including the generator itself, has a feedback widget in the corner. It opens a short form that goes directly to the team.
Use it for:
Bug reports (especially with browser + steps to reproduce)
Feature requests ("I wish the generator did X")
Profession-specific guides you'd like us to write
Tax or compliance corrections (we update fast for these)
Anything else
What we don't do
●We don't store your invoices. If you've lost an invoice, we can't recover it for you — your invoice history lives in your browser only. We never received a copy. (See /privacy for the technical details.)
●We don't have your account. There are no accounts on FreeInvoice.app. If you can't "log in," it's because there's nothing to log into — just open the generator and start.
●We don't sell anything. No upsells, no premium tier, no add-ons. The tool is the tool.
Frequently asked questions
I lost my invoices — can you recover them?
No — and that's by design. Invoices are saved in your browser's local storage; we never receive a copy. To avoid losing them in future, export each invoice as a PDF (which you keep), or back up your browser's local storage.
Can you add support for [feature / currency / language]?
Probably — send the feedback. Currencies and small UX changes are usually quick. Larger features (recurring invoicing, payment collection) we deliberately don't add — see /about for why.
There's a bug — what info should I send?
Browser + version, what you were doing, what you expected, what happened. A screenshot helps. Console errors (right-click → Inspect → Console) help most.
My country's tax rules aren't covered correctly. Can you fix it?
Yes — send specifics (jurisdiction + the specific rule + a source if you have one). Tax content is one of the few areas we update on demand.
Can I republish or translate one of your profession guides?
For non-commercial use with attribution and a link back to the source page, yes. For commercial republication, get in touch first.
